The Junior Development League (JDL) is a youth soccer league serving U7-U8 teams across the Greater Seattle Area with centralized programming hosted at Elite 90 Soccer in Tukwila, WA.

JDL League Play

The main offering of the JDL is seasonal league play. This competition format is the foundation of the league, offering consistent, development-focused match play throughout the year.

There are two 8-game seasons annually:

• Fall League Play: September – Early November
• Spring League Play: February – Early April

JDL Summer Jamborees

The JDL Summer Jamborees are one-day events, providing teams with two matches in a fun, low-pressure environment designed to maximize touches on the ball while encouraging creativity, confidence, and enjoyment of the game. These events bring together teams from across the league and serve as a great opportunity for players and teams to prepare for upcoming league play.

Two Summer Jamborees are offered before Fall League Play begins:

• Summer Kickoff Jamboree – Early June
• Summer Finale Jamboree – Late August

JDL Cup

The JDL Cup is the league’s premier event, giving participating teams the opportunity to compete for a trophy in an exciting, tournament-style environment.

The JDL Cup takes place twice per year:

• JDL Cup – Fall: Mid-November (end of Fall League Play)
• JDL Cup – Spring: Mid-April (end of Spring League Play)
